Ben Stribling has been in the business of banking for over twenty-five years. In 1986, he purchased Eden State Bank, Eden, Texas. He later acquired banks in Rankin, Texas and Big Lake, Texas combining them with the bank in Eden to form Texas Financial Bank. Mr. Stribling acquired State Finance Company in 1995. In 2003, he purchased Amistad Bank, Del Rio, Texas. Currently, Mr. Stribling serves as Chairman of the Board of Texas Financial Bank, State Finance Company and Amistad Bank. He previously served as a director of State National Bank until it sold in 2007 to BBVA/Compass Bank.
In addition to banking interests, Mr. Stribling has been involved for over thirty-five years in the commercial real estate business. He has owned and operated commercial properties and apartments in Lubbock, Abilene, San Angelo, Ft. Worth and Dallas, Texas. Since establishing his first property management business in 1972, he has owned and sold Sentry Property Management, Southwest Commercial Management and Commercial Property Leasing. Currently he serves as managing partner of Centerstone Management II, LLC, Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Stribling received a B.B.A. from Texas Tech University where he later taught Real Estate Finance. He resides in San Angelo, Texas.
